A very confusing tale of a fwb relationship. Advice greatly appreciated!?

I've been friends with benefits with this guy for around a year. In the beginning I didn't have any feelings for him, he just started to grow on me.





He calls me back-to-back several times. I answer and he says: ';Let's meet up, I need to get something off of my chest.'; I refuse.





A week later I agree to meet up with him. He tries to kiss me and I wasn't in the mood. He gets mad, talks about me seeing other guys, and then says ';never speak to me again.'; He calls a week later.





Every other day he will call and ask to hang out. I decided to be the big girl and initiate this friendship or whatever. Five minutes before I am supposed to go meet him, I call just to let him know...His roommate picks up: ';Oh, he left a few minutes ago.';





I'm not going to get angry because he isn't my boyfriend. I'm tired of playing games with this guy though. We've done things, what a lot of couples do, together. He has held my hand in front of his friends and all that. They don't agree with me, in fact they all hate.





What do you think of this whole situation? I really just want to stop playing games on both ends. I'm sick and tired and frankly i feel as if I'm going to loose my mind. ADVICE!?A very confusing tale of a fwb relationship. Advice greatly appreciated!?
Just let him go. FWB is just people using each other, and in cases one person falls for the other. He is afraid to let go, but he is also using the excuse that you aren't a real couple against you.
